Anna Molinari

The Label

In 1995, Anna Molinari launched a signature collection as a sibling to her sexy-sweet Blumarine line. Two years later, she handed the design reins to her daughter, Rosella Tarabini, and continued to focus on Blumarine and its diffusion collection, Blugirl. Tarabini’s vision is a moodier, edgier take on the fur-trimmed stretch knits and flirty frocks bedecked with bows that her mother’s known for.

The Look

Sugar and spice.

The Designer

Tarabini was born with fashion in her blood. Her grandmother owned a Capri-based knitwear that produced for YSL and Sonia Rykiel, and Tarabini’s mother and father founded Blufin Spa, which operates all three of the family labels—Blumarine, Blugirl and Anna Molinari. Tarabini worked alongside her mother at Blumarine before she stepped into the designer’s chair at Molinari.
