Label Overview

Started in 2004 by executives at IMG, the Fashion Fringe show held in London’s Covent Garden is a chance for fledgling designers to get seen by industry powerhouses (Anna Wintour and Miuccia Prada sit on the advisory board; Donatella Versace was a judge). A call for submissions is open to U.K. designers in the months leading up to the show, and finalists are given the chance to send their looks down the catwalk. The favorite, deemed by a panel of reputable judges, is awarded a grant and studio space. Past winners have included EJ (go by a secret path) and Basso & Brooke.
