Jeremy Scott

The Label
Where else but in fashion would a sexcapade of peep shows, clam-shaped clothes, and greased-up male models indulging in a little on-runway smack-and-grab be A-OK? True, it does seem that only Jeremy Scott can get away with it, but no one flies his freak flag quite as proudly as the designer does. And after more than ten years designing his signature line, he is just as controversial and avant-garde as ever—with a fondness for one-legged pants, no less. In that time, he’s taken his show to Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. His theatrical vision has found him a clientele that includes Björk, Kylie Minogue, and Madonna.

The Look
A free-for-all of controversial ideas, sometimes wrapped in style.

The Designer
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, of all places, Scott cut his teeth at New York’s Pratt Institute. He has become a cult figure in the fashion community, and his shows have attracted everyone from Courtney Love to Monica Lewinsky. He’s shown in both Paris and Los Angeles and made the move back to the City of Light in 2007.
