Nice bag.
It’s a basket. I’m actually really proud I bought it. I got it at Whole Foods—it’s by a company that helps women in developing countries create commerce for themselves. It’s called the Blessing Basket Project. I know that sounds hippy-dippy, but it’s really cool. And it was only $35!
You have quite a lot of tattoos.
I started getting them when I was 18. I worked in a tattoo shop in San Francisco when I was putting myself through college.
It’s an interesting look to pair with your ladylike dress.
I have all these tattoos, and then also a baby face, and I’m super-tiny.
Do you ever regret getting them?
Back in the day, when I was thinking about who I wanted to be in life, I thought, Okay, no matter what, the tattoos will always remind me of the person I am now.
