Is your necklace a pentagram?
Yes; the five-sided star represents the elements. It predates Babylon and the ancient Egyptians.

Sorry if this is offensive, but does that mean you worship the Devil?
Absolutely not. That’s a misnomer.

How did you get into the occult? It started when I read The Perennial Philosophy, by Aldous Huxley. I was living in Rome, across from the Vatican, and digging into various texts.

And has it influenced your daily life?
Sure. I used to run this thing called Black Sunday, in Miami Beach, which was kind of a jab at the nightlife scene there. It blew up into this massive cultural phenomenon; people lined up to be “murdered”in stop-animation. Think of them as really tongue-in-cheek music videos.
