Last season’s finale of Lost, the runaway castaway hit, raised more questions than it answered. Who are the Others? Will the rafters survive? And most maddeningly: What’s down that spooky hatch? These cliffhangers left some fans grumbling—and facing a torturous summer. Will this fall’s premiere bring sweet relief? “All of the current questions will be answered this season,” says co-creator Damon Lindelof, who then adds, “And the questions that eventually arise next season will also be answered this season. It’s a time-travel thing, hard to explain.” Very funny. Now tell us what’s up with the damned polar bear.
