The cozy East Village farm-to-table spot is serving a three-course dinner this Christmas Eve. The menu is $50 per person with wine pairings for $20 or $36 for two. Last year's menu featured broccoli-cheese soup or pumpkin-and-quince salad, followed by baked Long Island fluke or roasted duck (both with potato gratin and Brussels sprouts), and ended with chocolate fruit cake or coriander cheesecake. Expect similar delights this time around.

The West Village restaurant will serve a four-course Christmas Eve dinner this year. Dine on your choice of three savory courses and a dessert for $89 per person. Menu highlights currently include Hamachi Crudo, short rib ravioli, and three festive desserts: toffee pudding, hazelnut dacquoise, and eggnog crème.

Scandinavian standby Aquavit keeps it traditional from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve with their Grand Julbord. The normally avant-garde restaurant will serve up a Christmas Smörgåsbord with classic dishes like ham, gravlax, and prinskorv (small sausages typically eaten during the holiday season). It's $85 per person, including a cup of glögg.

Bring the whole family to Tocqueville for Christmas dinner. The three-course menu is $95 for adults and $55 for children under 10. Choose from seven different appetizers, entrees, and desserts, including caramelized chestnut and pumpkin soup, spice-crusted venison loin, and a bittersweet chocolate and brandied cherry buche de noel. The Union Square restaurant is also open Christmas Eve.

The Cuban bistro bar will be open December 24 and 25. It's just $35 per person for a three-course Cuban dinner (including traditional roast pork for the main) from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Fatty Crab will serve the Fatty Crew's take on Chinese food Christmas Day. Last year, the menu consisted of steamed buns, pork spare ribs, egg rolls, crab rangoon, General Tso's chicken and other American-Chinese staples. Expect more of the same this time around.
