The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park

More than 100 booths make this European-style holiday market one of the biggest in town, while free ice skating on the park's rink makes it one of the most festive.

Grand Central Holiday Fair

First, check out the kaleidoscopic light show in the main concourse. Then, sneak over to Vanderbilt Hall for the station's 12,000-square-foot impromptu mall.

The Holiday Gift Shops at St. Bartholomew's

Not only does the scene look like a Currier and Ives print, but you can also pick up enough cold-weather gear to look like you've just walked out of the artwork.

The red-and-white tents are resurrected with winter accessories, Christmas-y trinkets, and some less predictable, more interesting merchandise.

Some of the best booths are devoted to foodies: gift baskets stocked with snacks and sweets, and decks of coupon cards with discounts to Suba and the Tasting Room.

Winter's Eve at Lincoln Square

For one night at least, Upper West Side merchants turn a pocket of Manhattan into Small Town, USA, with music and (for a nominal fee) food tastings.

Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar

Artists & Fleas debuts an additional holiday market space, showcasing a festive twist on the wares of their regulars and more.

Hand-crafted gifts at the Casa Frela’s one-off weekend market will include jewelry, quilts, decorative items, and holiday ornaments.
