Sure, you might know him as the guy behind the songs featured in Smash, but Joe Iconis is also an acclaimed writer and performer who has been nominated for Drama Desk Awards. Expect a rollicking show with big Broadway voices.

Feed your need for Harry Potter to go on forever with other like-minded wizards! Costumes are encouraged at this night of holiday music and dancing, hosted by Harry and the Potters, who will be performing along with several other Potter-themed bands. If you're the kind of lovable Muggle who would go to this, you were probably sold at the name, but it can't hurt to know that $5 from each ticket will go to the Harry Potter Alliance (a social-justice nonprofit).

Justin Vivian Bond: Angels We Have Heard When High

As you might have guessed from the title, this tongue-in-cheek cabaret show will offer plenty of sardonic holiday cheer, helmed by the boisterous and talented Mx Bond.

When two gentiles attempt to host a holiday party for their Jewish friends, comedy (and networking) ensue. UCB is always the ideal place for weird, life-changing, and a-little-confusing comedy shows, and the holiday theme can only make it a truly bizarre night — in a good way.

Santa Suit 5K

If you don't want to be one of those SantaCon monsters but do want to wear a Santa suit, you are in luck. Dress up as St. Nick, then run, run, run. Drinking (responsibly) after is optional.

The Amazing Brooklyn Holiday Scavenger Hunt

El Niño is promising a milder winter this year, so it's a prime opportunity to join this scavenger hunt–obstacle course hybrid that starts in Park Slope and will take you all around Brooklyn.
