The buyers from Kirna Zabête and Intermix reported from Paris on their favorite collections from the spring 2007 shows. What will you be wearing next season? Space-age outfits, goddess dresses, and Lucite heels. One hopes not at the same time.

Paris Fashion Week was all about feminine and soft collections. The palette was pale, with a few pops of bright colors mixed in. Accessories were a strong part of the shows — patent and metallic shoes and Lucite heels were in every collection.
Stella McCartney
I really liked Stella McCartney’s collection. It was all about volume with a variety of silhouettes in soft colors and fabrications, with an excess of fabric gathered at the shoulders and arms, balanced with deep necklines or low backs.
Chloé
The Chloé show was fresh and happy. There were shades of peach, greens, and oranges, mixed with soft neutrals. There were beautiful embroidery details on the dresses. The collection was both feminine and playful.

Overall, Paris was a good season. My favorite collections were Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Balenciaga, David Szeto, and Giambattista Valli.
Stella McCartney and Balenciaga
Stella layered slim, tailored blazers over floaty rompers and poet blouses. The Balenciaga collection had a futuristic, space-age theme — it was very accessible, though, with beautiful sleek clothes in black and white.
Lanvin
My favorite pieces from Lanvin were the one-shouldered goddess dresses and tops. There were a lot of cute utilitarian pieces with cargo pockets in neon yellow and fuchsia.
