We’re as always glad to see highfalutin writers embracing the blog polloi — especially New Yorker classical-music critic Alex Ross, whose thoughtful blog has always been a winning accompaniment to his pieces in the magazine. One does start to wonder, though, if even such august figures can start to take the bloggy stereotypes a bit too seriously:
