Will Liv Tyler follow in the footsteps of fellow celebrity baby mamas Maggie Gyllenhaal and Keri Russell and abandon Manhattan for Brooklyn? Hello! magazine seems to think so: This past weekend, the U.K. tabloid reported that West Village residents Liv, Royston Langdon, and their son, Milo, went and checked out a Brooklyn Heights townhouse, one that Brownstoner reported they have looked at several times before. But perhaps now they are feeling a yen for clean air and wide-open spaces. Perhaps they, as Maggie told us, feel like “New York City more and more doesn’t feel like somewhere you should live.” Perhaps they are just moving to be trendy and don’t care that this terrible process of celebrities moving to Brooklyn will probably eventually force innocent bloggers farther and farther into the outer boroughs and maybe even back to fucking Philadelphia. One thing is sure: They’re probably not considering moving across the bridge just because of rising prices in Manhattan. The coveted townhouse, 140 Columbia Heights, has been reported to be the most expensive in the neighborhood.
