• Katie Couric tells Israeli newspaper Haaretz that Hillary Clinton’s campaign and Couric’s own struggle at CBS have caused her to think a lot about sexism in the past year. “I find myself in the last bastion of male dominance, and realizing what Hillary Clinton might have realized not long ago: that sexism in the American society is more common than racism, and certainly more acceptable or forgivable. • The Park Avenue doorman who won $5 million in the lottery was scolded for spending too much time outside the building and wearing short-sleeved shirts. “Further incidents of this kind will lead to suspension and or termination of employment,” his boss told him. “I want to kick back, drink and relax,” the doorman said when a reporter found him at the blackjack table in Atlantic City. “I’m hoping to get a nice massage.” [NYP]
