At last, Madonna is showing signs of strain from her tumultuous past month. Sure, she’s been showing up outside the house without having washed the conditioner out of her hair for weeks now, but things have turned serious. The London Sun reports that she’s fired two of her dancers and her tour manager is threatening to quit over her tantrums. Now, even this doesn’t necessarily seem out of the ordinary for the perfectionist contortionist, but she’s also suffering health problems. She’s anemic, which the paper says is “a sure sign she’s overdoing it,” and has already suffered a knee injury, before her Sticky & Sweet tour even started. As a result, she has a doctor, physiotherapist, and a chiropractor on hand during rehearsals.
The Material Mom is taking a break in the Hamptons with America’s Au Pair, Gwyneth Paltrow, this week. “She’s down physically and mentally,” a source tells the Sun. “Madonna was told to go soft on work and rehearsals, so she will now take one proper day off every week and go easy in the mornings.” One day off a week? WELL. She’ll be the picture of health in no time!
