First Post-Scandal Interview With Eliot Spitzer Scored by … ‘Time Out’

The former governor, who has been laying low ever since he resigned from office after the best sex scandal ever, responded officially to press questions for the first time this week. He chose plucky Time Out New York, who interviewed 40 prominent New Yorkers in a celebration of their 40th anniversary (of, uh, the London edition), as the venue for his tentative first foray back into the public eye. Spitzer didn’t answer all of their questions, but we do now know that Teddy Roosevelt and “immigrants” are his favorite New Yorkers, and that to him New York is “the place where no dream is too big to come true.” This makes us sad.
