Septuagenarian Finance Worker Robs Bank

Wow, the stats on Old Crime are going to be insane this year. Edward Solomon, 71, a financial-products salesman, has been arrested for stealing $5,900 from the Trustco bank in Peekskill, New York. Unlike his contemporaries Bernie Madoff, 70, and Arthur Nadel, 76, Solomon pulled off his bad-boy heist the old-fashioned way: by holding the teller up at knifepoint. He was arrested at his office in Rockefeller Center today and charged with robbery and grand larceny. What did we tell you? Old people: You can’t trust ‘em. [NYP]
