Momsen and Cuba at He’s Just Not That Into You

He’s Just Not That Into You co-stars Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin have been off-screen friends for years. “We’re eight-year buddies,” Goodwin told us at the Cinema Society screening of the film last night. We’re sure it must have been a bit awkward to play the potential romantic interest of one’s old buddy, but hey, these two are pros. They can act! (Seriously, did you ever think you’d be able to think of Justin Long as anything other than Drew Barrymore’s rebound guy, or the physical embodiment of a computer, ever again?) What we wanted to know is if “Mac Guy” Justin actually uses Apple products. “Do you know what, I have not yet seen him technologically bound, so I’m not even sure!” Goodwin admitted. Wow, in eight years she’s never seen him typing an e-mail by a pool or anything? What about the pocket-size gadgets? Is Long constantly attached to an iPhone or iPod? “No, absolutely not,” Goodwin says. “He’s good with the one-on-one; his communication skills have not plummeted due to the new, you know, way of merely relating over the internet, over BlackBerry; not at all.” Does he lobby his friends to use Apple products? “Not at all; he’s a gentleman.” Someone call Apple.
