At first we didn’t get all the fuss about the snowboard ramp in East River Park. It was built by Red Bull for Winter Jam NYC, and this week it drew professional shredders from all over the country, including stars like Shaun White and Travis Rice. When we saw the pictures of the athletes soaring through the air over the East River, with the bridge in the background, we had to admit it was pretty cool.
