To supermodel Gisele Bündchen, it doesn’t really matter which uterus produced her husband Tom Brady’s baby: It belongs to her. John Edward Thomas Moynahan may have been born in August 2007 to Brady’s ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, but to Gisele, he’s all hers. From this month’s Vanity Fair:
“I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,” Gisele says. “I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day.”
And Gisele isn’t just stopping with her husband’s baby. She’s been eyeing other babies to steal, too! “When you come from São Paulo, you see five-year-olds sniffing glue on the corner. You think, If you make a difference in the life of one of them, that makes your time on this earth worthwhile,” Gisele told the mag. “I will have a colorful family, like a rainbow. I have dogs from rescue; they are all my dogs. Children are like little angels — there’s no way you can’t love them.”
