When Governor Paterson hit 26 percent approval in a poll earlier this month, it was such a startling drop that we made a graph detailing his road to ignominy. But it turns out Paterson had yet to hit bottom: A new Sienna poll out today gives Paterson just a 19 percent job approval. It also shows he’d lose to the increasingly popular, bonus-busting Andrew Cuomo by 50 points in a race for governor. Paterson still has plenty of time before his re-election, but, at this point, he might need to find bin Laden or secure a deal for LeBron to revive his sullied reputation. [NYDN]
