Public Service Announcement: The inescapable movie Twilight will be screening (rain or shine) in Central Park tonight in Rumsey Playfield, sponsored by Bloomberg. That means a baffling mix of teens, goths, vampires, ironic hipsters, and moms will be descending on the park, which will no doubt inspire panic, or at least curiosity, in “normal” New Yorkers. Do not be afraid; it’s just a movie and it can’t hurt you. Actually, hell, it might be kind of fun to be there when 5,000 people stage-whisper “Say it” in perfect unison!
