All the big Christians are gathering in D.C. this week for the “Values Voters Summit,” an event that is unlikely to produce bigger laughs than the opening speech Thursday night by Carrie Prejean, the Miss USA contestant who shot to instant notoriety with her clumsy anti-gay-marriage speech at the pageant. Carrie is now an official speaker/martyr for the Christian right, obviously, and while her entire speech is hilarious (work those crazy eyes, girl!), the last 30 seconds are nothing less than pure comedy gold.
