New Evidence Shows Terror Suspect Might Have Targeted Fashion Week

The FBI has searched the computer owned by the Denver terrorism suspect, who officials believe was part of a plot targeting New York City in a “varsity level” attack similar to the 7/7 attacks on the London transportation system, and found evidence that fashion week might have been a target:

law enforcement officials said the Denver man’s computer showed he had researched baseball and football stadiums and sites used in the recent Fashion Week event in New York City.”

The police apparently made a copy of the computer’s contents when they towed the suspect’s car last week. This is extremely scary and serious, and also, it must be pointed out, very much like the plot of the 2001 motion picture Zoolander. [ABC]
