With the governor cornered in the Situation Room, Wolf Blitzer asked Corzine about his “Don’t Vote for the Fat Man” campaign tactics. “I don’t give a hoot about his weight,” Corzine said. Then Blitzer asked if it would have been smart to not end a commercial by saying Christie “threw his weight around,” given his rather obvious weight issues. “That’s probably a good idea,” Corzine admitted. But he quickly added, “It would also be a good idea for Christie to stop being so fat.” Or at least, he thought it.
