Theft of Pricey Mats Threatens Yogis’ Zen

Weeks ago, Tribeca’s Kula Yoga Project replaced their studio’s nylon yoga mats with brand-new $70 high-performance Manduka “eKo” mats, which are made of natural rubber and have a “sea-grass texture finish.” Since then, 32 have been stolen from the studio, testing the faith of the yoginis within. “It’s beyond disheartening,” Kula studio manager Tatiana Ramos tells website Well and Good NYC. “I’m looking for some yogic lesson in it, but it’s hard to find.” [Well and Good NYC]
