Announcing the Winners of the Political Fictions Contest!

After New York ran the Political Fictions Project in its pages a few weeks ago, we asked readers to submit their own versions of invented scenes from the private (or imaginary) lives of politicians. We got a lot of fantastic responses, and have picked the top ones. First prize goes to Dean Borok, who will win a weekend at Washington’s Mayflower Hotel for his “A Wall Street Christmas Carol!” which starred a delightful “Tiny Tim Geithner.” Second place goes to M.W. Donahue for his “Rear Sunroom” — which involves Bill Clinton, some attractive women, and a bunch of tennis balls — and third goes to Matt Sullivan for his “Dan Quayle Prepares His Comeback.”
