Disgraced former NY1 political anchor Dominic Carter will serve 30 days in jail for choking and kicking his wife, and will be barred from being near his wife for two years if he does not undergo therapy with a psychologist psychiatrist who will prescribe him medication. Upon sentencing, Carter burst into tears. “Courtney, I’m counting on you, I need you to be a big girl,” he said tearfully to his daughter, who is 21.
