Eliot Spitzer sat down for a surprisingly open and candid interview with BigThink.com, in which the former prostitute patron discusses disappointing his family and defends his overall worth as a human being. One thing he didn’t want to do, though, is give advice to Tiger Woods. “Look, again, I hesitate to give advice,” he says, “but what I’ve tried to do is look within.” Okay, that’s advice, pretty much, as is this pearl of wisdom, which is beautiful for its self-evident simplicity: “When you know something’s stupid, don’t do it.”
