Yesterday morning Apple announced that it will hold an invitation-only event in San Francisco on January 27 to announce its “latest creation” (probably the long-awaited iSlate). Sensing an opportunity to be overshadowed, the White House announced that the president will deliver the State of the Union on January 27 too.
