James O’Keefe, the creative young conservative who tricked ACORN into believing he was a pimp last year, was arrested yesterday after he and three other men posed as telephone repair men in order to sneak into Senator Mary Landrieu’s Louisiana office. Today federal officials charged them with entering federal property under false pretenses with the intent of committing a felony (phone tampering of some sort). Though O’Keefe’s undercover skills have clearly diminished, at least his costume (“blue denim pants, blue work shirts, light green fluorescent vests, tool belts, and construction-style hard hats.”) sounds a lot better this time around.
