They overpay for their cheese, but are not, it turns out, so generous when it comes to paying the people who take care of their children, according to Dyker Regis, who may or may not retain her job as a nanny after giving the following quote to the Post. “It’s really unfair because we are taking care of those kids to the best of our ability,” she said, of the $16 an hour she is paid to take care of two children. “We need that support from the parents because we’re doing a great job … In the city they pay but not in Park Slope.” [NYP]
