Friendly Robber Wishes Victims Well

Yesterday we heard the story of Delonce Ellsberry, a would-be thief who politely excused himself after being caught by a person he intended to rob. As it turns out, Delonce is not the only robber in New York who looks out for the feelings of the people he is stealing from. A man who has been robbing banks in Westchester and the suburbs, police say, is downright charming.

FBI spokesman James Margolin says the courteous crook has thanked tellers while holding them at gunpoint. He’s also wished them a nice day while making his getaway.

It just goes to show you, just because people are robbers, it doesn’t mean they’re not good people.
