So Who Got Nominated for ASMEs This Year?

A bunch of smart, sexy magazines who you’d love to take home to meet your mother, that’s who! New York and The New Yorker both scored ten nominations, followed by National Geographic with seven. Eight magazines that have never before made the list of finalists were also nominated this year, including Architect, Food Network Magazine, Garden & Gun, Military History, and Out. The ASME winners will be announced (and the slightly scary, Beetlejuice-inspired Calder sculpture trophies that go with them handed out) on April 22.
