After two electrical failures, the Large Hadron Collider is finally working and doing its job of smashing up protons to re-create the same conditions from when the universe was less than a trillionth of a second old. Scientists are very excited. ““We’re looking at all kinds of exotic things,” one tells the Times, including signs of extra dimensions.” Eep!
