To get this amazing shot of lions in Kenya, photographer Greg du Toit sat submerged in their watering hole, within pouncing distance, for a total of 270 hours. Whilst there he contracted two types of malaria, an external worm parasite known as Hook Worm, and “numerous species” of internal worm parasites.
