Vancouver’s Winter Games provided NBC with a much-needed ratings jolt, as 190 million viewers tuned in for the Olympics, making it the second-most-watched Winter Olympics in history, NBC Universal said. Astoundingly, about 80 percent of the entire Canadian population tuned in Sunday for at least some part of the men’s hockey Canada-U.S. showdown for the gold medal.
