Poor Bill O’Reilly. For eleven years he’s been trying to land Al Gore and for eleven years he’s failed. So with little hope of actually getting Gore to join him in the studio, O’Reilly tried for the next best thing — an ambush interview by his lackey Jesse Watters. As the video shows, Watters succeeded in getting Gore on tape but that’s about it. Gore was friendly, but steadfastly refused to engage Watters. Apparently he doesn’t believe in ambush journalism. So given how dull this ambush is, why did O’Reilly even bother running it? Guess he couldn’t come up with enough Pinheads and Patriots to fill the time.
