Florida Senate candidate (and current governor) Charlie Crist is expected to announce later today that he’ll drop out of the Republican primary and continue his campaign as an Independent, after polls showed he had no chance to beat conservative rising star Justin Bieber Marco Rubio. It can be tough to be a moderate Republican these days, especially one who dared to support the stimulus that created or saved 87,000 jobs in the state.
