After word last week that Condé Nast was considering a move from Times Square to the World Trader Center site, the Observer found that several Condé “veterans” aren’t exactly psyched about the possibility. One mused, about the Battery Park area, “The place is a cemetery it’s creepy,” while another put it more bluntly: “Everyone thinks [the One World Trade Center] building is haunted. There’s not one person from editors on down who wants to move down there. Even people who could walk there don’t want to move there.” [NYO via Gothamist]
