Since Robert Moses built Riverside Park in 1937 there’s been a break in the continuous bike path that runs along the water’s edge from about 83rd Street to 91st Street. After two and a half years and $15.7 million spent, the promenade has been restored to a straight shot from 59th Street to 133rd Street. [City Room/NYT]
