Despite for some reason being nominated by the Staten Island GOP’s executive committee, former congressman Vito Fossella has decided not to run for his old seat this year. “I love the people in my hometown, and I love serving them,” he said at a press conference this afternoon. “I think we have a great future in store, but frankly for now, it’s not right for me.” [WSJ]
