Despite the waits and frustration on the part of many customers, stock in the company rose 3 percent after 600,000 iPhones were ordered, a record for a single day for the company. Of course, these phones won’t arrive until three weeks after you can just go to a store and pick one up on June 24, but hey, ordering first is much more cool than a few days of being the only person on the subway with an iPhone 4, right?
