Ah, the hot mike. It has ensnared the likes of Jesse Jackson, Peggy Noonan, and, most disastrously, Gordon Brown. Now Carly Fiorina has unwittingly joined the club just a day after becoming the GOP’s Senate nominee in California with some deprecating remarks about the hair of Senator Barbara Boxer, her Democratic opponent, which were captured by CNN. Sooo catty. The shifty-eyed thing Fiorina does after realizing she’s being recorded is absolutely priceless.
