White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel says Joe Barton’s recent defense of BP is a warning of what will happen if the Republicans take back control of the House or Senate in the midterm elections.
Emanuel, who was speaking on ABC’s This Week, added: “I think what Joe Barton did was remind the American people, in case they forgot, how the Republicans would govern,” and said it would be “dangerous” if the GOP held power in Washington.
