While the nation grapples with how a man who spent no money and (despite repeatedly claiming he talked to voters all around South Carolina) clearly did no campaigning at all managed to win the Democratic nomination for Senate, the mystery must be weighing especially hard on Greene’s vanquished opponent, Vic Rawls, who sent out “300,000 e-mails, conducted a quarter million robocalls and logged nearly 17,000 miles to Democratic events around the state” during his campaign. Which is why Rawls has now assembled three “teams of experts in election data analysis” to look for voting irregularities. They’ve already come upon some “curious” findings, including a “significant difference between the results of absentee and election day ballots.”
