The Sarah Palin Reality Show Will Be the Anti–Real Housewives

With good looks and an ability to garner controversy, Sarah Palin might seem a good fit for Bravo. But her upcoming reality show, produced by Mark Burnett, is on TLC, and, according to the L.A. Times, the series is the network’s “strongest play yet for non-elite, middle-class America … in a marketplace otherwise filled with sex-drenched youth soups or aspirational voyeurism.” So what will “being an Alaskan” through the lens of Sarah Palin look like, exactly?

The details are still pretty vague, but the Times knows what the show definitely won’t look like, and that’s Ramona Singer squawking spastically while pointing fingers at Jill Zarin.

This from the network that created Kate Gosselin? We’ll take Team Bethenny any day, thanks.
