The vintage Wall Street sign that was auctioned off today went for a good deal more than Christie’s estimated it would ($60,000 to $80,000), but less than what the sign’s owner, Kevin Lessin, was asking for it on eBay last year ($125,000). Still, dude’s got to be happy to have some cash in his pocket: He’s a former Merrill Lynch trader pursuing a screenwriting career. [Bloomberg]
