In his closing argument yesterday, Rod Blagojevich’s lawyer, Sam Adam Jr., basically tried to convince the jury that Blago was too stupid to be corrupt. “He’s got absolutely horrible judgment in people,” Adam said. He later added, “As much as I like him, and as much as he’s loved around the world, this is a man who considered appointing Oprah Winfrey [to the U.S. Senate].
