Jason Green, one of two EMTs accused of leaving pregnant woman Eutisha Rennix to die at an Au Bon Pain seven months ago because they were on their lunch break, was shot and killed outside the nightclub Greenhouse early Sunday morning after getting into a fight. Police don’t believe the killing was in any way linked to Green’s role in that incident, but “karma is a bitch” seems to be a popular sentiment from the commenters at the Post and Daily News today. Rennix’s sister might agree: “I don’t think anybody deserves to die, even though they do wrong things,” she says. “[But] sometimes when you do wrong things, it comes back to you.”
