JFK and La Guardia will soon be outfitted with the much-debated body-image scanners, which will display 3-D (!) images of passengers’ naked bodies. The machines will be set up in the “coming months,” and will screen travelers “quickly, and without physical contact.” The TSA says the employees who lead you through the machines will not be the ones examining your 3-D nude selves (though they’ll presumably still be permitted to grope you as they see fit), and it ensures the images will be deleted from the agency’s computers as soon as they’ve been viewed. Riiiiight … let the countdown till the first celeb nudie pic is leaked begin!
